Pipa Chinese has finally arrived! This textbook series is grounded in twelve years of curated content from Pipa, a Chinese-language magazine for Chinese American children in the United States. It took four years of curriculum development and classroom practice, followed by two more years of careful refinement, to bring it to life. Our hope is that it will be more than a set of books sitting quietly on a shelf — that it will be a true companion for students on their journey of learning Chinese and exploring Chinese culture. Walking together, discovering together.
